FPV Drones

FPV Drones

The shot that can't be cut — FPV drones that fly through windows, down stairwells and alongside cars at speed, all in a single unbroken take.

FPV (first-person-view) cinematography is where Hammarstrom Aerial started. An FPV drone flies where nothing else can — through a doorway, down a stairwell, under a moving car and back into the sky, without a single cut.

We run two kits so the rig matches the job. The small kit carries a GoPro 8–11 at up to 160 km/h and is light enough for interiors; the large kit puts a full-frame Sony A7SIII, Fuji XT3 or RED Komodo in the air for cinema-grade FPV.

Small kit — fast, light, indoor-capable

The GoPro kit is built for tight spaces and speed: 4K stabilised footage, up to 160 km/h, and small enough to fly through interiors and even through moving cars, then straight back outside in the same take.

Large kit — cinema-grade FPV

When the frame has to hold up on the big screen, the large kit flies a full-frame or RED sensor on the FPV rig. Post-stabilised to a clean, cinematic finish, it delivers proximity, chase and dive shots that cut seamlessly into features, commercials and broadcast.

Frequently asked

Can the FPV drone fly indoors?
Yes — the small GoPro kit is built for interiors and tight spaces, and can fly through doorways, stairwells and moving cars, then straight back outside in one continuous take.
Is FPV footage broadcast quality?
With the large kit it is — a full-frame Sony A7SIII or RED Komodo, post-stabilised, gives footage that holds up for features, commercials and broadcast.
