Some scenes need light from a place you simply can't rig a fixture. Aerial lighting solves it: a high-output LED flown on a drone, positioned and moved in three dimensions to light night exteriors, large sets and action from above.
We offer two packages. The custom Y6 carries a 33,000-lumen LED on a tiltable gimbal for around 18 minutes of flight — ideal as a soft, movable key or fill. For real reach, the Alta X / Tango II delivers a 70,000-lumen spotlight that moves freely through 360°, dimmable to whatever the scene needs.
Light where a crane can't go
A drone-mounted light reaches over water, across ravines, above crowds and around structures that would take a condor or a crane hours to serve — if they could reach at all. It moves with the action, follows a performer, or creates a motivated source like a helicopter or a moon that actually travels through the shot.
Dimmable and controllable
Both rigs are fully dimmable and set to the exact output the DP calls for, so the aerial source integrates with the ground package instead of fighting it. The 70,000-lumen spotlight gives hard, directional punch; the 33,000-lumen Y6 gives a softer, mobile key — and both can be repositioned in seconds between setups.
